About Memory Buddy
Memory Buddy is a project created by three high school students with the help of a mentor that has the purpose to aid people who have Alzheimer's and their caregivers. It consists of fours products: a robot, an app, two sensors, and a GPS.

The app, as stated, will work along with the robot. The app is free and will be available soon in AppStore and PlayStore. It will have memory stimulators such as thinking games, word games,s, and hash, as those are proven ways to exercise memory and reasoning. Also, one of the most important tools the application will have is the chatbot, which will have fast questions to also help the person with the memory, with the results, will be made level metrics and graphics to analyze the progress and also help the doctor to analyze how the patient is.

All the money obtained by the selling of the products will be donated to institutions that also care about this cause and to research centers. The Programs were based on researches too, by asking questions to caregivers and also data from the internet.
The robot is projected to A.I. and will function mainly by voice. It will also work along with the app. It will have basically three main functions: "Improving the Memory and Mood of the person who has the disease", which will basically show pictures of relatives and friends, play songs, tell stories, read books out loud and etc. The other one is called "Reminder", which will give alerts such as "do not forget to turn the oven off" and set up alarms to medicine and etc. The last one is "functions to help the caregiver", which will alert the caregiver if the patient is calling".
The last two products are two sensors and a GPS. The sensor will be one of carbon dioxide, to detect if the oven or something dangerous might be on and the other one is the water sensor, to provide more security if the person forgets to turn the bathtub or other things off. The GPS is a dispositive to alert the caregiver if the person got lost or simply went away from the house. It can be put in clothes, necklaces and etc.
